Santa Clara University provides students with opportunities for study with acclaimed artists and scholars in virtually every area of the performing and visual arts. The academic departments present outstanding music, theater, dance, and visual arts performances and events that are open to the public.
The arts at Santa Clara University encompass programs in Music, Theatre and Dance, Studio Art and Art History, and more. With yearly plays, dance shows, exhibitions, and student ensemble concerts including Orchestra, University Choirs and Chamber Singers, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Band & Combos, and SCLOrk. Departments also sponsor many fine artist-in-residence programs, free 50-min concerts, lecture series, and workshops.
